Lindsey Dey has broad project experience working with home owners, architects, and local government; including Central Coast, Bayside, Canterbury- Bankstown, Canada Bay, Northern Beaches, Wollondilly, Ku-Ring-Gai, Mosman, Willoughby, Lane Cove, Hunters Hill, Wingecarribee, Georges River, Parramatta and North Sydney Councils.

Lindsey has been an expert planning member of Lane Cove, Inner West, Bayside and Liverpool Local Planning Panels. The terms on these Panels expired in February 2024 after 2 terms in the roles.

In May 2024 Lindsey was reappointed to the NSW Government’s pool of approved experts for its Local Planning Panels. She is currently a member of the Canada Bay, Canterbury- Bankstown, Central Coast, Liverpool and Wollondilly Local Planning Panels. She is North Sydney Council’s community representative on its Local Planning and Regional Panels.

Services include extensive consultation during the planning and application processes, to help ensure that all aspects are dealt with prior to submission with Council. This includes the analysis, assessment and presentation of development applications to:

respond to formal public notification by Council;
submit constructive critiques to Council on behalf of affected property owners and other stakeholders; and
form the basis of statements of environmental effects (SEE) for lodgement with Council.

Lindsey also assists a number of Councils with the assessments and processing of development applications (DA), the preparation of planning proposals and development control plans (DCP).

ABOUT

Lindsey on the Bicycle Bridge of Freedom near Bratislava in Slovakia. This bridge over the Danube links Austria and Slovakia. It was completed in 2012.

Lindsey is principal of Lindsey Dey Planning. Lindsey has worked in all planning sectors including State government, local government and private enterprise. She has completed major strategic (forward) planning projects and has undertaken a variety of statutory planning tasks. She has also represented numerous private individuals and groups in resolving land use planning matters.

Lindsey has been a mentor for the Planning Institute of Australia on several occasions.
